A 12V cordless drill/driver has a new motor that offers high power - up to 460 in.lb of torque - and electronics allow infinite no-load speeds up to 1,350 rev/min.

Metabo Corporation, a leading international manufacturer of professional grade portable electric power tools and abrasives for industrial, construction and welding applications, has introduced the new BSZ 12 Cordless Drill/Driver The 12-volt tool has a new motor that offers greater power than previous models - up to 460 in.lb of torque

Its onboard Variospeed electronics allow infinite no-load speeds up to 1,350 rev/min.  The quick change 1.4A/hour battery is part of a new air-cooled charging system that offers 30-minute charging with up to 2000 charges per battery.  The Metabo BSZ 12 is ideal for a wide range of applications, including general woodworking, construction, cabinetmaking and serious do-it-yourself projects.

  The BSZ 12 uses 3-level planetary gears and a smooth gear change mechanism to extend tool life.

The built-in fan helps keep the motor cool under load.

The cordless drill/driver provides 20 torque settings, plus a drill setting, reversing capabilities, auto-stop brushes, a keyless 1/2in chuck, and an ergonomic, rubber-coated T-handle.

  The Metabo BSZ 12 can drill up to 3/8in holes in mild steel and up to 1in holes in soft wood.

The tool weighs 4.4 lb with battery and comes with a carrying case, two batteries, and charger.
