The flip stop depth function guarantees a constant cutting depth on every cut at any angle setting, while the multi-positioning clamp allows users to secure work pieces both horizontally and vertically.
The KGS 305 12in mitre saw is also designed for safety, with wide footprints for stable work surfaces and a lock-out feature incorporated into the switches.
Cords run through the rail to stay safely away from the blade.
The cutting depth is 4.3/4in at 90 deg and 3.1/4in at 45 deg; cutting width is 12.1/2in at 90deg and 9.1/4in at 45 deg.
The powerful 15A, 2kW motor achieves a no-load speed of 3800 rev/min.
Integrated table extensions expand the table up to 41in.
The KGS 305 is part of Metabo's first-ever line of benchtop woodworking tools, which includes three mitre saws, a table saw and a planer.
All five products were designed for Metabo by Elektra-Beckum (part of the Metabo Group since 1999) and feature innovative designs and Elektra-Beckum's signature electric blue colour.
