Drill/driver power tool that offers more power and a faster charge than earlier models is equipped with 20 torque settings, plus a drill setting with forward and reverse modes.

Metabo Corporation, a leading international manufacturer of professional grade portable electric power tools and abrasives for industrial, construction and welding applications, has introduced a new drill/driver that offers more power and a faster charge than earlier models.

The new BSZ 14.4 Cordless Drill/Driver is ideal for drilling, tapping, and driving screws in a wide variety of applications including automotive, industrial, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other general construction applications.

The Metabo BSZ 14.4 Cordless Drill/Driver is equipped with 20 torque settings, plus a drill setting with forward and reverse modes.

It has a two-speed gearbox, a keyless 1/2in chuck, and an ergonomic, rubber-coated T-handle.

The 14.4 volt motor offers increased power: up to 487 in lb.

of torque.

Its onboard Variospeed electronics allow infinite no-load speeds up to 1,400 rev/min.

The BSZ 14.4's quick charge battery is part of a new air-cooled charging system that cools both the battery and the charger during the charging process and offers 30 minute charging with up to 2,000 charges per battery.

The tool utilizes three-level planetary gears and a smooth gear change mechanism to extend tool life.

The built-in fan helps keep the motor cool under load.

The Metabo BSZ 14.4 can drill up to 1/2in holes in mild steel and up to 1-3/16in holes in soft wood.

The tool weighs 4.6 lb with battery and comes with a built-in case that holds two bits.
