The 10in miter saw weighs only 42 lb, making it easily portable.
The motor is center-mounted to balance the weight of the saw.
A lock-out feature is incorporated into the switches, and cords are kept safely away from the blade with a clip on the back of the saw rails.
The cutting depth is 3-3/4in at 90deg and 2-5/8in at 45 deg; cutting width is 12in at 90 deg and 8in at 45 deg.
The powerful 15A, 2,000W motor achieves a no-load speed of 5,020 rev/min.
The KGS 303 comes with a 10in x 48-tooth carbide-tipped blade and is the only tool of its kind to include additional fences for more height.
The KGS 303 is part of Metabo's first-ever line of benchtop woodworking tools, which includes three miter saws, a table saw and a planer.
All five products were designed for Metabo by Elektra-Beckum (part of the Metabo Group since 1999) and feature innovative designs and Elektra-Beckum's signature electric blue color.
