A versatile 12-gauge shear assists in the burr-free cutting, shearing and trimming of sheet metal and plastics and its blades have four cutting edges not requiring sharpening or adjustment Metabo Corporation, a leading international manufacturer of professional grade portable electric power tools and abrasives for industrial, construction and welding applications, now presents a versatile 12-gauge shear for heavy-duty cutting

The Ku6870 assists in the burr-free cutting, shearing and trimming of sheet metal and plastics.

The Ku6870's usefulness is derived from its ability to convert from a portable tool to a stationary one when mounted upside down on a tool bench.

In addition, the shear's heavy-duty cutting head and drop-forged base ensures accurate cutting, and its blades have four cutting edges that do not require sharpening or adjustment.

The compact, yet tough, Ku6870 can be operated with one hand, and the tool rest on top of the machine serves the dual purpose of being the bench mount when the machine is used as a stationary shear.

It also has a lock-on switch to provide additional control and ease of use.

Metabo's 5.2A shear features a maximum torque of 53in.lb, 3,000 no load strokes/min (SPM) and a capacity of 12-gauge in mild steel and 14-gauge in mild stainless steel.

Its minimum cutting radius is 3/4in, and the tool measures 11in and weighs 6.0 lb.
