Mott Corporation (Farmington, Connecticut, USA) and Bekaert Advanced Filtration, a division of Bekaert Advanced Materials (Zwevegem, Belgium) have established a comprehensive strategic alliance, including sales, distribution, and new product development.

Roger Klene, president and CEO of Mott Corporation, stated that: "The aim of the Alliance is to offer customers in Asia, Europe, and North America, a more complete choice of supply for metal-based filtration.

George Brys, corporate vice president, Bekaert Advanced Materials, said the complementary technology of the two companies will benefit the end customers in a number of important ways.

"Together, Mott and Bekaert will provide the most comprehensive array of filtration and flow devices available for volatile environments where conditions favor metal media.
