Mott Corporation was named a recipient of a certificate of recognition under NASA's Supplier Outreach And Process Control Initiative by NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory.

Mott Corporation was named a recipient of a certificate of recognition under NASA's Supplier Outreach And Process Control Initiative by NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory The award acknowledges Mott's accomplishments in implementing and sustaining innovative quality and process controls throughout their organization

Mott is the first company to be so recognized by JPL for its quality program.

Mr.Roger Klene, President and CEO of Mott Corporation, accepted a certificate from representatives from Jet Propulsion Laboratory during a meeting held at Mott Corporation on June 20, 2002.

Mott Corporation supplies porous metal products to JPL for use by NASA in filtration, flow control and heat transfer application parts that support numerous unmanned space missions.

These products include gas filters, liquid filters, restrictors and various sintered porous metal shapes for use in valves and other filtration and separation devices.

The Jet Propulsion Laboratory, managed by the California Institute of Technology, is NASA's lead center for robotic exploration of the solar system.

The Herschel Planck telescope, Deep Space-1 spacecraft and Jewel Thomsom valve are just a couple of their innovative developments that include Mott porous metal products.
