Affordable DRO with impressive features

A new Digital Readout system for lathes and electro-discharge machines enables any number of holes between two and 360 to be programmed with full angular offset automatically positioning the workpiece

Mitutoyo (UK) has introduced a new Digital Read Out (DRO) system for lathes, electro-discharge machines and other machine tools The KL Counter and AT115 linear scale are combined in a compact, affordable DRO system with an advanced feature that enables any number of holes between two and 360 to be programmed with full angular offset automatically positioning the workpiece

The KL Counter offers many easy-to-use functions including zero-setting, presetting, metric conversions and Mitutoyo's ABS Absolute feature.

The counter's "zero-approach machining" feature involves presetting a distance from a known datum and machining until the counter reads zero.

Any positioning errors are automatically corrected when the next dimension is entered.

The KL Counter has a default resolution of 0.005mm and it can be switched to 0.001mm.

The complementary AT115 Linear Scale is available in 20 different versions with ranges from 100mm to 1500mm and scale reference points at a 50mm pitch.

Datum points for machining are easily determined even after the power is switched off by using the reference point.

Providing the precise accuracy of glass scales, the AT115 is unaffected by magnetic fields to provide totally reliable measurements. Request a free brochure from Mitutoyo (UK) ...
