Shopfloor CMMs feature compact,
ergonomic design

Shopfloor CNC CMMs feature a redesigned Y-axis casting to produce the optimum structure for vibration free operation.

The new Mitutoyo Crysta series of production orientated CNC CMMs has all the essential features of machines specifically designed for shop floor environments These include volumetric error compensation, automatic temperature compensation, a granite measuring table, self adjusting air bearings and dust resistant protection glass scales

The Y-axis casting has been redesigned using finite element techniques to produce the optimum structure for vibration free operation.

All these are contained within a compact, ergonomic design.

The Crysta Plus 500 series includes the 544 and 574 models and replace Mitutoyo's proven CNC Euro-C Apex machines.

The new CMMs retain many of the original features and can also achieve measuring speeds of up to 430mm/second and a resolution of 0.0001mm.

The new Cyrsta Apex 700, 900 and 1200 series machines are all new designs which cover a complete spectrum of measuring volumes.

All versions offer improved accuracy specifications, increased acceleration, as well as higher movement and measuring speeds.

These new CMMs are capable of speeds up to 520mm/second with a resolution of 0.0001mm.

Acceleration is 2260mm/sec2.

A new belt drive is also featured for quieter machine operation.

With the new designs benefiting from Mitutoyo's experience in CNC CMM technology, all feature lightweight materials and an innovative machine structure to provide high travel stability and accuracy at an affordable price. Request a free brochure from Mitutoyo (UK) ...
