Profile projectors link to geometric
analysis unit
Data from a projected clear, accurate and bright image can be transmitted from a profile projector to a geometric data/analysis unit.
Optical measurement has traditionally been a major strength in the Mitutoyo range of metrology products The company produces lenses and mirrors in its own optical plant to achieve the highest quality standards

Metrology products on paper and online
Mitutoyo (UK) has released its new 2003 product catalogue in both printed format and online.
Clear, accurate and bright images are produced to give the user levels of performance not available from other suppliers.
This approach is underlined in the latest offering from Mitutoyo - the PJ-A3000 profile projector series which can also be linked to the new QM-Data 200 geometric data/analysis unit.
The PJ-A3000 range features a screen with a 315mm effective diameter, built in digital protractor screen with digital display and is available with different stage sizes.
The screen is manufactured from fine ground glass for a clear image with cross hair reference lines.
The projector lens provides 10x magnification, with options of 20, 50 and 100x also available.
Contour illumination accuracy is +/-0.1% or less and surface illumination accuracy is +/-0.15% or less.
Designed for bench mounting, the PJ-A3000 series will appeal to a wide range of organisations looking for a fast, accurate and cost effective means of measuring component profiles.
By linking it to the new QM-Data 2000 geometric data/analysis unit, it provides a powerful 2D co-ordinate measurement capability and minimises the risk of error through its simple key operation.
This in turn ensures maximisation of measurement time and improved operator productivity. Request a free brochure from Mitutoyo (UK) ...
