No refocus needed to check stepped parts

At Nepcon 2005 Mitutoyo will be showcasing the Quick Image2D manual vision measuring machine featuring double-telecentric optics combined with such a large focal depth that most workpieces of varying thickness or stepped surfaces can be measured without refocusing, and which has been reduced in price until the end of August 2005.

Also on show is the QV ELF, a compact system specifically designed for measuring smaller components and offering a measuring range of 200 x 200 (or 250) x 100mm, an excellent cost-to-performance ratio, energy saving features and high accuracy.
