MTA Director General, Simon Brown, commented: 'It has been a pleasure to work with David, who has held various positions in the MTA, beginning with the Equipment Section Committee in 1985, becoming Chairman in 1986, and then moving on to become MTA Treasurer from 1989.
More recently, he has served as Chairman of the Manufacturers Committee and as a Vice President.
He has made an excellent contribution to the MTA and I am sure that he will continue to be a great supporter of our organisation.' In light of this change the Executive Council will be recommending that Paul Maynard continues to serve as MTA President for another year.
