With an eye on the bourgeoning medical device sector in the Republic of Ireland the Manufacturing Technologies association will become a supporting body of the 2006 Enquip trade show in Dublin.

MWith an eye on the bourgeoning medical device sector in the Republic of Ireland the Manufacturing Technologies association (MTA) has agreed to become a supporting body of the Enquip trade show in Dublin this year, (18-20 October 2006) The show will cover a range of industries from engineering to pharmaceuticals to aerospace

For MTA members this means that they will receive a discount if they choose to exhibit at the show.

Organised by the largest exhibition organiser in Ireland, Expo-Exhibitions, Enquip's aim is to deliver solutions for Ireland's manufacturing Industry and its organisers are investing heavily to deliver the right content and the right visitors to match the needs of exhibitors.

Commenting on the agreement, MTA director general Andrew Manly said: "I am delighted that we are supporting Enquip in 2006 and we will be actively encouraging our members to attend this show as it will give them the opportunity to access a growing market in Ireland at a discounted rate.

As organisers of MACH we are well aware of the benefits to companies of supporting successful established shows and I am confident that no other Irish show in 2006 will attract the same calibre of visitor." MTA will also be present at the show promoting British industry in Ireland.
