UK machine tool exhibition space is
filling up
In January, 2006, the organisers of the UK's MACH machine tool tool exhibition said that stand space was 94% sold with 450+ confirmed exhibitors.

Welding pavilion to replace cancelled WELDEX show
The MACH 2006 machine tool exhibition will include a Welding/Joining/Cutting and Fabrication Pavilion following the cancellation of the Weldex show, due to run alongside MACH.
Machine tool show CAD/CAM pavilion sold out
The CAD/CAM pavilion is the first of the 'MACHplus' areas of the UK's MACH 2006 machine tool exhibition to have sold out, with 19 companies having booked stand space.
Good sales have been reflected across the board with few stands left in any of the general or specialist areas.
In January: * General area Hall 5 - two stands left.
* General area Hall 4 - 19 stands left.
* Measurement and Inspection - four stands left.
* CAD/CAM - two stands left.
* Tooling - five stands left.
* Engineering Lasers - two stands left.
* Metal Working Village - eight stands left.
* BARA Village (Automation and Robotics) - eight stands left.
The new Welding Pavilion announced in December 2005 had also sold 250m2.
Commenting on these figures, Graham Shearsmith, MACH Exhibition manager said: "We have worked hard throughout 2005 to attract exhibitors to the show and I am very pleased with our current position, having already secured 450+ exhibitors.
I would advise any company who is thinking of taking a stand to get in contact with us urgently as we do expect the show to sell out soon.
For 2006 we will be concentrating on attracting the right calibre of visitors to the show." * About the MACH exhibition - MACH is the UK's Premier manufacturing technologies event encompassing metalcutting and metalforming machine tools along with all ancillary and related products and services.
For 2006 MACH will also incorporate New at MACH, highlighting everything that is new at the show to visitors, MACHplus, exhibitors from related industries and MACHconsult, industry advice from experts.
MACH attracts over 400 exhibitors and in excess of 20,000 visitors to each show and is the only place to find out what is new in the marketplace.
