The CAD/CAM pavilion is the first of the 'MACHplus' areas of the UK's MACH 2006 machine tool exhibition to have sold out, with 19 companies having booked stand space.

The CAD/CAM pavilion is the first of the 'MACHplus' areas of MACH 2006, being held at the NEC, Birmingham, 15-19 May 2006, to completely sell out With 19 companies taking all available space within the MACHplus pavilion visitors can expect to see the very latest in new CAD/CAM developments, a taste of which is detailed below: * Mastercam (Stand 5765) - will be showing its newly released Version X with lots of new functionality in all areas and dramatic new features for multi-axis mill/turn and machine simulation

* Vero (Stand 5761) - will showcase the latest version of its VISI-Series 5-axis machining software with a new and improved interface.

* Tebis AG (Stand 5771) - will be presenting its latest process tool for NC machining, the Tebis Simulator, at MACH 2006.

The software can simulate and validate complicated mould production processes, letting you optimise safety and running times.

* Seiki Systems (Stand 5566) - wireless or wired Ethernet based DNC and data collection, OEE calculations, probe data collection, Internet Browser based shop floor screens.

* Camtek (Stand 5560) - Camtek will preview significant developments to its SolidCut CADCAM Systems, including all-new technology engines, knowledge-based feature machining, user interfaces and methodology.

* Renishaw (Stand 5773 - Productivity+ Active Editor Pro allows easy generation of touch probing and process control routines, whilst Renishaw OMV gives CMM-style 3D verification against a CAD model.

The CAD/CAM pavilion at MACH 2006 is being sponsored by the UK's 'Metalworking Production Magazine' and is located in Hall 5.

The pavilion will be clearly signposted to visitors.
