Six-nation inward mission to come to MACH 2006
The UK's MTA, n partnership with the engineering sector team of UK Trade and Investment, is hosting a six-nation inward mission to the UK's MACH 2006 manufacturing exhibition.
The Manufacturing Technologies Association (MTA), in partnership with the engineering sector team of UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) is hosting a six-nation inward mission to the UK's premier manufacturing technology exhibition - MACH 2006 - at the NEC Birmingham from 15-19 May 2006.
MACH is recognised as the world's window on UK engineering expertise in manufacturing; the exhibition is the showcase representing the exceptional capabilities and innovation demonstrated by a broad range of machine and equipment manufacturers, importers and service providers to manufacturing organisations around the world.
Following a number of previous visits from overseas buyers that have been successful, the event is growing in terms of its international significance.
This multi-country inward mission is focussing on key buyers in the manufacturing and related sectors from Brazil, Russia, India, China, Turkey and Thailand - six nations of ever-increasing importance in the manufacturing arena.
The MTA and UKTI will be supporting an International Lounge at the event which will be the focal point for the mission's participants.
This will be situated close-by the seminar stand and will have cloakroom facilities, free tea, coffee and biscuits, free Wi-Fi internet access and an opportunity to hold meetings and network.
It will be staffed by MTA and UKTI representatives; our support partner at the NEC - The International Trade Promotion Centre - will deal with much of the logistical arrangements for our visitors.
* The event - MACH 2006 - the show, which runs every two years, offers UK and overseas buyers the opportunity to view a broad range of equipment and expertise across the manufacturing technologies sector.
It has attracted more than 500 exhibitors and we expect more than 20,000 visitors.
There is a comprehensive programme of seminars, workshops and information exchange running alongside the exhibition with participation from most of the UK's leading manufacturing industry companies.
