John joins the Manufacturing Institute from Airbus UK where he was an internal consultant on Lean Management techniques.
Fully qualified in engineering management, he previously worked in a business improvement role at the heavy-duty transmission division of Worsley company Eaton Limited.
John lives in Westhoughton near Bolton and has specialist knowledge of Lean Manufacturing techniques, value stream mapping and supply chain management.
A qualified mechanical engineer, Carl takes up his new post after being recruited from Warrington based Ineos Silicas where he was materials and planning manager.
Previously, he held positions at engineering company ABB Power Technology Products where he was supply chain manager, Garrett Turbo Charger Aftermarket in Cheadle, JCB Transmission in Wrexham and Kent-based Lucas Diesel Systems.
Carl lives in Saughall, Chester and has a strong track record in Lean Production techniques, process improvement, project management, planning and supply management.
Mike Price, the Manufacturing Institute's Head of Practitioner Services, said: "The appointment of seasoned specialists such as Carl and John significantly increases our ability to help regional manufacturers to increase productivity and boost their bottom line.".
