The Manchester-based Manufacturing Institute formed its Improvement Practitioner team in 2002 when it was appointed to deliver the government funded Manufacturing Advisory Service in the North West.
During that time, its practitioners have helped manufacturers in the region amass more than GBP 15 million in cost savings - an average added value of almost GBP 250,000 to every company assisted.
