The 'Accelerated Route to Lean Manufacturing' programme is being run by The Manufacturing Institute and led by some of Britain's best manufacturing experts and practitioners.

North West manufacturers eager to fight off the competitive threat from low wage economies such as China are learning how to sharpen their competitive edge and reduce production costs as part of a fast track lean manufacturing programme, starting this month.

The Accelerated Route to Lean Manufacturing programme is being run by The Manufacturing Institute and led by some of Britain's best manufacturing experts and practitioners.

It focuses on driving out waste and driving up efficiency across the total production system.

The Manufacturing Institute has been helping companies advance their skills and performance for the past decade.

Past programmes in the region have proved a route to success for more than 500 manufacturing professionals who have applied their learning to create thousands of pounds worth of productivity improvements.
