Manufacturers seeking to perfect their processes and quality performance can learn how some of Europe's best businesses are meeting these challenges through a Six Sigma Masterclass.

Six Sigma has been hailed as the most powerful manufacturing performance tool ever and is credited with driving huge performance improvements at companies such as Ford, DuPont and Motorola, where it has reportedly generated savings of US$17 billion Manufacturers seeking to perfect their processes and quality performance can learn how some of Europe's best businesses are meeting these challenges through a Six Sigma Masterclass at the Manchester-based Manufacturing Institute on Thursday, April 19, 2007

The event will feature experts from industry and academia as speakers from Aston Martin, Xerox Europe, Jaguar Land Rover, ADVANSA and Brainboxes will be joined by experts from The Manufacturing Institute and Glasgow Caledonian University.

They will demonstrate how the powerful statistical method can be used to tackle quality and process-related problems in organisations - helping to reduce variability in processes, eliminate defects, improve delivery performance and reduce costs.
