The new Murex Tradesmig Challenger 186C MIG Welder is the latest development in the long running Tradesmig series and offers the virtues of high quality welding performance, rugged reliability, simple operation as well as positive and powerful wire feeding The Challenger has the power, duty and performance to tackle even light production welding tasks

The Tradesmig Challenger replaces the established Autolynx 3 welder which had a reputation for reliability and performance.

It's welding capabilities far exceed this and it offers even greater durability with its rugged and robust fully enclosed casework, all copper windings and heavy duty four wheel undergear designed to carry full size gas cylinders.

Precision wire feed drive mechanics feed 0.6 or 0.8mm hard or 1.0mm soft wires at speeds up to 16m/min.

There is a high torque electronic wire feed motor speed control.

A Euro- adapter MIG torch connection, detachable dins connected work return lead are also standard.

The Tradesmig Challenger operates from a single phase, 240 volt supply.

Performance is rated at 100A at 60% duty and 160A at 20% duty.

It can weld 0.8-6mm mild steel using argon rich shielding gas mixtures as well as stainless steel or aluminium.

It has a convenient eight step voltage selection and easy set up chart to allow less skilled operators to set the correct welding parameters.

An MXE 200A MIG torch is provided as standard equipment. Request a free brochure from Murex Welding Products ...
