Rugged unit offers wide MIG and FCW
power range

Featuring a simple to use switched type design and a rugged all metal construction, an industrial welding package can be used for MIG from as low as 40A to FCW at 300A.

A new single phase 240V powered industrial welding equipment package, the Transweld Challenger 301T, has been introduced by Murex Welding Products It is a rugged, reliable and simple package designed MIG, MAG and flux cored wire welding

It welds from 40 to 300A and provides 270A at 30% duty and 200A at 60%.

It operates from a single phase 240V 30A supply.

The Transweld Challenger 301T can be used for a wide range of industrial welding applications, and is suitable for applications up to 300A using 1.0 or 1.2mm diameter wires.

For thin sheet, it can weld up to 1mm thick metal using 0.8mm wires at as low as 40A.

The power source uses a simple to use switched type design and is a rugged all metal construction.

Heavy duty undergear/bottle carrier make this unit ideal for moving around the workplace for production welding applications.

Combined with the Challenger 301T power source is the new Transmatic Lynx 2D wire feed unit.

It provides reliable and powerful wire feed up to 20m/min using its two large diameter feed rolls and permanent magnet high torque motor.

Its sealed electronic compartment houses the proven Murex motor control system as well as digital volt and amp metering circuitry.

As many as 14 voltage settings are available with Transweld Challenger 301T to give very fine welding control.

A range of options are available including a trolley kit for the Lynx 2D feeder and a choice of Murex MXA MIG torches. Request a free brochure from Murex Welding Products ...
