General purpose mild steel copper-coated MIG wire is available with an adaptorless basket and produces quality welds with excellent radiographic and mechanical properties.

It is ideal for welding most mild and carbon-manganese steels such as Lloyds grades A to DH (up to DH32).
Already successfully used on Murex stainless and aluminium MIG wires, the robust Adaptorless Basket from Murex is also available on MIG/MAG wire and fits directly on to any wire feed unit.
It does not require plastic inserts to be fitted, and will save time in change overs, as well as less down time.
1.0/1.2mm wire sizes, are supplied on 18kg baskets.
