Industrial TIG welder perms MMA too

Designed for industrial welding applications a welding unit can carry out TIG or MMA welding operations is either AC or DC process modes, providing high performance levels.

Murex Welding Products' new Transtig AC/DC 253iS is designed for industrial welding applications It can carry out TIG or MMA welding operations is either AC or DC Process modes, providing high performance levels - typically 250A TIG rating at 40% duty and 250A MMA (manual metal arc or 'stick' welding) rating at 35% duty

In developing the Transtig AC/DC 253iS, Murex has ensured that it offers the welder precise adjustment and control of welding parameters.

This has been achieved through high frequency switching inverter technology and a micro-processor based controller.

Other performance benefits include AC TIG without the need for continuous high frequency for arc maintenance; balanced electricity supply line draw, high efficiency and power factor; full pulsing facilities; digital metering of welding current and voltage.

An LED display of current voltage, frequencies and other preset values helps to ensure the welder remains in complete control of the welding process.

He also has a range of other fingertip controls at his disposal including main and process setting controls, remote control and start current key, pulse mode key and AC balance control.

The Transtig AC/DC 253iS is available both as a welding power source or as part of a complete package that also includes trolley water, cooler, torch, work return, hose, regulator and flowmeter. Request a free brochure from Murex Welding Products ...
