safety
A welding helmet darkens automatically to give almost instantaneous eye protection with a reaction time of 1/200000th of a second while powered respirator system filters welding fumes.
As health and safety standards improve year upon year and legal requirements to protect the welder become more strict, Murex Welding products continues to develop its range of personal protection products for welding, cutting and general engineering The latest enhancements to the range include the Multiweld helmet and the Multiflow respiratory equipment

Steels up to 6mm welded from 240V supply
Capable of welding 0.8mm to 6mm mild steels, as well as stainless or aluminium, a compact arc welder operates off 240V supply and has a welding range of 30 to 185A.
Reliable MIG welder facilitates thin-wall joints
Providing high quality joints in thin sheet metals down to 0.5mm place growing demands on MIG welding equipment and operators, which is why reliable TIG weld process control is essential.
The Multiweld helmet darkens automatically to give almost instantaneous eye protection with a reaction time of 1/200000th of a second.
Offering full ultra-violet and infra-red light ray protection, the twin solar-powered lens unit offers rotary switch shade adjustment from level 9 to level 13.
There is also sensitivity adjustment and a variable delay from dark to light state so that the operator can adjust eye-sight comfortably to the prevailing conditions.
Extremely lightweight, the Multiweld puts operator comfort at the top of the priority list and also incorporates a fully adjustable harness and anti-bacteria sweat band.
Complementing the Multiweld helmet is the Multiflow powered respirator system including air filter, air hose and the heat unit.
It draws in air contaminated by the welding or cutting process with a motorized fan.
The air is then filtered through a two stage process.
Clean air is then delivered into the head unit.
The Multiflow is available in a range of different configurations conforming to UK and EU standards.
Spares and options are also available to allow this advanced respiratory system to be customised for specific tasks to be carried out.
Multiweld and Multiflow are just part of a range of personal equipment and welding accessories detailed in the new publication PWX 426 03/06. Request a free brochure from Murex Welding Products ...
