Powertrain manufacturer orders more CNC
UK powertrain components manufacturer has ordered four more CNC machining centres from Matsuura to meet demand from one of its German automotive clients.
Increasing demand for its products from a leading German automotive manufacturer has led Mahle Powertrain to invest in four more Matsuura Machine Tools, to be installed alongside the 18 they already utilise in their capacious Wellingborough facility The new machines, ordered from stock in the first week of January 2007, are being tailored to Mahle's production requirements at Matsuura's Leicestershire base, including extensive Hydraulic fixturing on all machines, for delivery in early February 2007

* V.Plus-1000 High Speed Vertical / 4th Axis and Tailstock / 12,000 rev/min Matsuura Hi-Tech Spindle / 40 Tool ATC / Hydraulic Fixturing / Renishaw MP10 Spindle Probe and NC-4 Laser Tool Length Measurement and Breakage Detection.
* V.Plus-1000 High Speed Vertical / 4th Axis and Tailstock / 12,000 rev/min Matsuura Hi-Tech Spindle / 30 Tool ATC / Hydraulic Fixturing / Renishaw MP10 Spindle Probe and NC-4 Laser Tool Length Measurement and Breakage Detection.
