The MarVision MS222 Optical CMM is complete with 3 sensors, camera, touch trigger probe and laser.

The MarVision MS222 offers the 3 sensors, camera, touch trigger probe and laser Add an integrated rotary table and you have a system capable of measuring all features without having to reset the part

Simply rotate and continue to measure.

All 3 sensors are linked to a single calibrated reference and can be used in any combination to measure the part.

For example, you can use the laser and touch trigger probe to align the part and the camera to measure small or complex features which cannot be accessed with the probe.

The 3D CMM has a measuring range of 250mm in X, 200mm in Y and 200mm in Z and is build on a solid granite base.

All axes are equipped with precise roller bearings and the stage is made of composite aluminium featuring low mass a high rigidity.

The optical system uses a 5.8 to 1 variable motor zoom together with a high resolution CCD camera and grey level evaluation.

Other magnifications as well as an optional 2 step zoom are available on request.

Illumination is software controlled using fibre optic light sources for coaxial and backlight and a 4 segment programmable LED ring light.

The touch probe is standard Renishaw and uses a wide range of styli including star probes.

Also available is the integrated automatic probe changer.

A "Through The Lens" laser is a coaxial focus laser integrated in the Multisensor head.

It uses computer controlled intensity parameters to suit an assortment of different materials and colours.

The laser allows for rapid surface focus with an average focus time of 0.2 seconds per point.

Dynamic laser scanning of 3D topographical profiles at a rate of 500 points per second is also available.

The length measuring uncertainty according to VDI/VDE 2617, alternatively ISO 10360-2, is as follows; E1= 2.2+L/150, E2= 3.2+L/125 and E3= 3.9+L/100.

Note: As E3 is a 3D volumetric uncertainty it can only be established with a touch trigger probe.

Therefore, the E3 value is only available with the touch trigger probe option.

A higher accuracy version is available which uses higher resolution scales for more precise positioning and laser focusing.

The MarSoft Vision 3D for Windows 2000 provides for 2D and 3D geometric elements such as planes, cones, cylinders, circles, lines, points, etc together with distances, intersections, angles, etc All using the intuitive graphical interface for point and click selection.

Results can be printed directly or exported as Text or in HTML or Excel format.

A graphic screen showing the measured features together with the results is available to print or store as necessary.

The form and position tolerances with feature material conditioners,MMC,LMC,etc are as standard and can also be shown as either numerical or graphical.

MarCAD 3D is an integrated module which will import the 3D CAD model and convert computer aided design data into automated measuring routines.

Other software options are available such as 2D scanning, 2D bestfit, palletising, statistical evaluation and offline programming.
