Degrease and wash fluids approved by
aerospace
Among a range of degreasing fluids shown by Mykal at the 2007 Paris Air Show were a high performance aqueos degreaser and a spray wash cleaner - approved by aerospace and defence.
Among the aerospace and defence approved cleaning and degreasing products shown by Mykal Industries at the 2007 Paris Air Show were the De.Solv.It High Performance Degreaser (DSI 1000), Aqueous Degreaser (DSI 3000) and Aquasolv Spray Wash Cleaner-VCI (Aqua 10VCI) Both products are approved by Boeing, McDonnell-Douglas and NATOfor the cleaning of vehicles and components

Solvent replaces methylene chloride for flushing
For industries that make use of polyurethane injection moulding or casting, flushing of PU mixing heads and equipment can be done with a solvent agent instead of methylene chloride.
Mykal was at the Michelet-Parc d'Expositions, thanks to its aviation appointed partner Enviro Tech Europe.
Details of the products shown were as follows.
* High Performance Degreaser (DSI 1000) - the product is a citrus based non-flammable solvent with excellent degreasing properties for the cold manual and dip cleaning of metals and plastics, proven at the highest levels of industry for almost 20 years.
* Aqueous Degreaser (DSI 3000) - the product is a semi-aqueous non-flammable cleaner for degreasing components, which can be diluted for use in the removal of oils, inks, polishing compounds and lapping slurry in manual, dip, pressure wash and ultrasonic processes.
* Spray Wash Cleaner-VCI (Aqua 10VCI) - the product is an aqueous metal degreaser for use in hot spray wash systems for the removal of oils, grease and swarf from components prior to coating, painting and assembly.
