Low volume (0.5ml) screw top tubes

Micronic has introduced a new range of low volume (0.5ml) screw top tubes providing laboratories with high integrity storage and easy retrieval of scarce samples down to -180C.

Micronic has introduced a new range of low volume (0.5ml) screw top tubes providing laboratories with high integrity storage and easy retrieval of scarce samples down to -180C The internal V-shape of each 0.5ml screw top tube ensures the lowest possible dead volume and maximum sample recovery

Designed to fit 96 individual tubes into a standard Micronic Lobo rack* - the new low profile 0.5ml tube range optimises use of valuable freezer storage space.

Incorporating a novel 'single turn' screw cap mechanism accessing and securing samples within Micronic 0.5ml tubes is a simple and rapid process.

With a unique 2-dimensional code (Tracker Data Matrix or TraXis system) on the bottom of each tube the new range provides an easy and unambiguous means of storing and identifying samples.

Available with a choice of 6 different colour screw caps the new 0.5ml screw top tube range also allows quick visual determination of sample origin.

Unique tube coding, compatibility with SBS/ANSI compliant tube racks and Micronic code reader's facilitates easy integration of the new 0.5ml screw top tube range into automated high-throughput screening environments.

Manufactured in a modern class 7 clean room production facility - the 0.5ml screw top tube range is certified RNase / DNase free and non-toxic, according to the USP class VI test, making them the ideal secure medium for storage of scarce liquid or solid biological samples.

Dedicated to the design and production of innovative sample storage tubes, accessories and instruments over the last 25 years, Micronic is uniquely able to offer laboratories the expert advice to help them safeguard one of its most valuable assets - its samples.
