CAM produces toolpaths and simulates

A CAM system that not only produces toolpaths but also offers simulation will be demonstrated at the forthcoming EuroMold Exhibition In Germany.

A leading provider of component software for 5-axis machining toolpath creation, ModuleWorks, will launch its second major product at the EuroMold exhibition at Frankfurt in December (www.euromold.com).

ModuleWorks said that over 15 companies already benefit from the 5-axis component released by ModuleWorks 4 years ago.

Now, ModuleWorks is about to release its simulation product.

Simulation of the machine and stock has become an established part of most CAM products and many companies choose to use component technology for this, said a report to manufacturingtalk.com.

However, there are many areas where existing solutions do not really meet the needs of the users.

ModuleWorks said that by combining its experiences in toolpath creation, the input of our users and the skills of our development team, it has produced a product that will certainly attract a lot of interest.

Managing director at ModuleWorks, Yavuz Murtezaoglu, said: "We would like to invite everyone to visit our booth at Euromold to see a demonstration of our new Simulation component.
