The National Metals Technology Centre (NAMTEC) has a helpline staffed by experienced metallurgists who answer technical enquiries about metals, processes and application.

Website visitors can access 10,000 pages on metals
The National Metals Technology Centre has added a powerful search tool to its website enabling site visitors to search over 10,000 pages of metals related information in a single search.
NAMTEC has a telephone helpline staffed by a team of experienced metallurgists who can answer technical enquiries about metals, processing and applications.
They will answer questions immediately, or within a few days, and are currently providing the helpline service free of charge to SMEs.
If a company requires help with product development, testing or research, NAMTEC will liaise with the universities and research organisations which are leaders in that particular field.
They will negotiate costs and oversee the work on behalf of the client.
A pilot website is up and running, and a full site will go live in the next few months which will allow visitors to see the latest news stories on the metals industry.
Subscribers to the site will also be able to search databases for detailed information about metals.
