RTD modules give low-channel monitoring
options

Engineers and scientists now have a new option for connecting 2, 3, and 4-wire resistance temperature detectors (RTDs) to their measurement and automation systems with two new modules.

Engineers and scientists now have a new option for connecting 2, 3, and 4-wire resistance temperature detectors (RTDs) to their measurement and automation systems with two new modules for National Instruments FieldPoint distributed I/O system With the FP-RTD-PT100-3 and FP-RTD-PT100-4 dual-channel RTD input modules, users can integrate low-channel counts of RTD into their industrial monitoring systems with the 2, 3, or 4-wire RTD sensor that best suits their application requirements

By offering a two-channel solution, the modules can help engineers and scientists to achieve mixed signal, low-channel count applications, such as temperature monitoring.

The new RTD FieldPoint dual-channel modules feature 12-bit resolution and extend the existing FieldPoint product line.

All FieldPoint analogue input modules include input-output isolation to provide differential analogue signals, Hot PnP plug and play autoconfiguration to maximise the ease of configuration and installation, and onboard diagnostics for virtually trouble-free installation and maintenance.

FieldPoint dual-channel modules offer advanced features and more flexibility, which expand National Instruments distributed measurement line and offer low channel count modules ideal for mixed signal applications. Request a free brochure from National Instruments ...
