Combined expertise shows 4-/5-axis
machining use
Following a new global agreement with DEPO Frastechnik, NC Graphics will be staging a joint Open House to show the full potential of both companies' software in 4- and 5-axis machining.
In 2002, NC Graphics celebrated 25 years as a supplier of CADCAM software to the manufacturing industry As a long standing player in the consolidating global CADCAM market, it was clear that NC Graphics needed to strengthen it's position and market share, so Dr Arthur Flutter, the founder of NCG decided in the autumn of 2002 to make a new global agreement with DEPO Frastechnik of Marienfeld, Germany for the joint sales and marketing of DEPOCAM

NC Graphics has recently invested in a DMU eVolution 50 CNC machine with 5 axis and probing to be used for in-house demonstrations and testing of their CADCAM software.
After only 3 months of this new strategic alliance, the sales of DEPOCAM in UK, Germany, Portugal, China and Taiwan have grown.
April 2nd - 3rd will see the first Joint open house at the new DEPO-FHT technical centre in Southam.
During the Open House we will be conducting metal cutting demonstrations showing the latest developments of the NCG ToolMaker and DEPOCAM CADCAM software, utilising the full potential of the DEPO machine tool and cutting tool ranges.
This will include roughing, finishing, high frequency milling and hard metal machining.
Examples of both conventional and 4th and 5th axis machining will also be available for review along with additional DEPO features such as: a.
DEPOTable - Rotary and swivel sub-table.

DEPOInspect - Component inspection while still on the machine table.
c.
DEPOTouch - DEPO's touch on system.
d.
DEPOHeatShrink - DEPO's shrinking system for solid carbide cutters.
e.
DEPOTurbine - DEPO's head utilising through spindle pneumatic supply.
The combined global user base of DEPO and NCG can now see a far stronger business plan, with an expanding development team and salesmen offering a comprehensive range of integrated manufacturing technology.
