With the introduction of a new range of rotary lobe pumps, designed in conjunction with international customers, this company is able to offer rotary lobe and progressing cavity pumps.

With the introduction of it's new range of rotary lobe pumps, designed in conjunction with international customers, Netzsch claims to be the only manufacturer in the UK to offer both rotary lobe and progressing cavity pumps Commenting on the new Tornado range, managing director Guy Glennon says: "The addition of rotary lobe pumps to our range means that Netzsch can offer manufacturers in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries unbiased advice on the most effective type of pump for their process

Now rotary lobe, progressing cavity, hygienic and aseptic pumps are all available from the same pump manufacturer." The high performance range meets the most stringent quality standards, including FDA, EHEDG and 3A sanitary standards.

All pumps in the range are CIP/SIP capable and all parts that come into contact with product are made from 1.4401 stainless steel.

The Tornado pumps are designed for safe dry running and offer pulse-free flow proportional to speed, high dosing accuracy, flow rates of 0.4 to 700m3/hr, differential pressure up to 30 bar and maintain a smooth and sterile environment.

The compact design allows easy installation and servicing.

Quick-change rotary lobes and seals can be accessed without dismantling the pump or the pipeline; seals can be inspected without dismounting the pump housing; and pump connections can be turned to the vertical position for complete emptying.

Other features include polished contact surfaces with optional electro-polishing; standard and special rotor geometries; and a number of shaft seal options.
