Self-greasing rotors increase hoist
service life
The fitting of rotors, which incorporate a novel integrated lubricating system, has improved the performance and longevity of hoists used in difficult working environments.
J D Neuhaus, specialists in pneumatically operated materials handling equipment, have improved the performance and longevity of hoists by fitting rotors which incorporate a novel integrated lubricating system JDN air hoists and monorails are typically used in areas where there is limited headroom available, where arduous operating conditions exist or where there are aggressive or potentially explosive atmospheres

J D Neuhaus is now supplying air hoist products to comply with the cleaning and hygiene levels for food industry installations and withstand wash down conditions.
Neuhaus compact lifting equipment is light
A wide range of compact lifting equipment by J D Heuhaus is lightweight enough to provide portable material handling that complies with current safety and working practice regulations.
This includes mining, offshore and chemical industries together with cement plants and general industries wherever dirty, dusty, damp or otherwise hazardous conditions exist.
The products affected include all the hoists in their Profi TI range, together with their EH monorail series, with lift capacities in excess of 25 tons.
At the higher loadings, it is imperative to provide timely and adequate lubrication to accommodate the elevated stresses generated during lifting and lowering and to prevent excessive motor wear.
High performance grease is inserted into cylindrical chambers, situated between the slots for the vanes on the main rotor body, and covered on both sides with porous covers.
The grease is delivered from the chambers only during rotation, which causes small portions of lubricant to permeate into the motor chamber.
When the supply of grease is finished, refills can be easily installed.
This is an excellent safety feature providing back-up to in-situ lubricants and protection for the vanes and motor rotor for up to 100 hours of operation.
General features of the JDN materials handling equipment include: * Robust and solid construction.
* Ease of handling.
* Extended working cycles.
* Frequent switching.
* Infinitely variable lift/lower speeds.
* Insensitive to aggressive atmospheres in temperatures range -20deg to +70degC.
