The new winches are also suitable for safe operation in dusty or dirty conditions, which can occur throughout general industry.
JDN Profi air winches house an innovative vane motor with integrated brake function, offering fewer components overall - a design philosophy that has been proven in the company's chain hoist series.
No additional air lubricant is required, helping to keep maintenance costs to a minimum.
The winches have high rope capacities and are simple to operate via a variable speed lever control at the winch, with optional E-type or FI-type pendant controls.
An emergency air shut off valve also acts as an additional safety feature.
The Profi Eco is the smallest in the range, with two models which offer lift capacities of 500 or 800kg respectively.
A lightweight aluminium casting makes the Eco versatile enough for a wide range of applications while its 2.2kW motor offers rapid lifting speeds, up to 17.5m/min at 80 per cent of nominal load, and up to 31.5m/min unload.
Low air consumption and minimum noise pressure levels are features of the Eco, ensuring both cost-effective and environmentally friendly solutions to all winching requirements.
Optional travel limit switches can also be fitted where required.
Further lifting and pulling winches have also been added to the JDN range.
Manufactured with an extremely durable steel structure, capacities of 1000 and 1800kg (Profi Lifter) and 1600 and 3000kg (Profi Puller) ensure suitability for heavy duty applications.
For minimum maintenance and maximum reliability, both the Profi Lifter and Puller feature an exhaust-air cooled planetary gear that is integrated in the drum.
High rope capacities at four-layer spooling, long rope duty cycles as well as variable speeds, easy installation and low noise levels, all make these winches the ideal choice for a wide range of industrial and engineering applications.
