Nexcom has launched its most versatile blade server to date with the introduction of the new HS416A The HS416A's unique architecture enables it to accommodate any combination of 32-bit, 64-bit or dual-core Server Blades and/or Pentium M based PC-Blades in the same compact 4u chassis

This unique feature gives users the flexibility to mix and match between PC-blade and Blade-Server technology without the need to purchase an additional Chassis - thus saving money and valuable rack space.

With up-to 16 Pentium M based PC-blades in the same chassis, the high-density HS416A can address applications where space is at premium and where low power-consumption is essential such as web-hosting.

Applications within call centres and financial institutions can also be addressed with PC-Blade.

Alternatively for high-performance computing applications such as clustering the HS416A chassis can accommodate up-to 8 Dual Core or Dual 64-bit Server blades enabling users to harness the power of effectively 32 processors in the same space saving 4u chassis.
