Nederman UK is launching a new range of FilterCart units, based on the original and highly successful FilterCart concept, but developed to be more application-specific.

There are three models, each of which is supplied with customised ancillaries and filtration media, making selection of the most appropriate system easier.

The basis of all the FilterCart systems is a compact, highly robust mobile extraction unit, capable of processing air at up to 1000m3/hour.

All models are equipped as standard with a two- or three-metre self-supporting extraction arm.

They can be specified for 240V or 110V operation and the new design makes provision for quick, easy filter cartridge replacement.

FilterCart Standard is the entry level model in the range, providing an effective extraction solution for light welding applications in small workshops.

Features include a two-metre long self-supporting extraction arm, high-efficiency general-purpose extraction hood and a simple particle filter with 25m2 filtration surface area.

The next model is the FilterCart Original, which offers a complete mobile fume extraction/filtration facility.

It boasts a 35m2 particle filter and there is the option of adding a HEPA class H13 fume filter and spark protection grille.

This machine is also available with a three-metre self-supporting extraction arm option, and all Original models are fitted with a built-in halogen spotlight.

FilterCart Carbon has been developed in response to the expanding use of solvent-based products for assembly and repair.

The machine offers 500m3/hour air handling through a 20kg activated carbon filter cartridge and utilises the same high-efficiency hood design and two-metre self-supporting extraction arm as the FilterCart Standard.

With FilterCart W3, Nederman is offering a machine that complies with the top W3 filtration class as defined by the latest European standard for welding filters, EN 15012-1.

The machine features a three-metre extraction arm as standard, equipped with a newly designed metal hood which incorporates a spot light; a 35m2 long-life particle filter is fitted.

The new FilterCart range is designed to provide reliable, highly capable local fume extraction in cost effective packages.

At the same time the flexibility and low maintenance requirements of the original system have been retained, making it a highly capable, portable workshop extraction system.
