Versatile medium-duty vacuum systems with ratings up to 15kW/4800m3/hr are now available from Nederman, suitable for the removal of light to medium-heavy particulates.

Medium-duty vacuum systems with ratings up to 15kW/4800m3/hr are now available from Nederman.

The units, which are intended for permanent floor mounting, are designed as modular systems to meet a range of applications.

Users can select from a wide range of filter units and vacuum units, utilising a variety of control unit/starter combinations according to the functional requirement.

This flexibility makes the Nederman Mid Vacuum range an excellent choice for many workplace applications, including multi-user installations, where removal of light to medium-heavy particulates is required.

Compatibility with other equipment from the Nederman range allows a system to be configured for dust extraction at source on a variety of fixed and manually operated power tools, as well as routine cleaning of floors and benches.

An optional half-speed ventilation mode provides for passive extraction of airborne dust particles.

All units in the range have been developed for ease of use combined with low noise impact on the workplace.

The standard 240-litre dust collection bag is trolley-mounted to assist emptying - a bin level indicator is available as an option - and an automatic filter cleaning system ensures long periods of operation between filter replacement.

The filters themselves are low-cost items.

Electric belt-driven fan units feature spark-free aluminium construction and are quiet in operation.

Depending on the configuration, these systems can satisfy a wide range of dust extraction requirements.

The range is nominally divided between the Compact range - in which all functions are integrated as one assembly - and the Mid Vacuum range in which the fan unit is housed in a separate enclosure.

Whereas the Compact range can satisfy requirements calling for air displacement of up to 1700m3/hr, applications requiring up to 4800m3/hr can be supported by the Mid Vacuum two-box format.
