Tool presetter also performs inspection

Dual function camera system provides tool presetting and tool inspection on a tool presetter fitted with vacuum clamping with index lock on an interchangeable spindle.

Since January 2003 Nikken Kosakusho UK Limited, have been the exclusive UK distributor for the Elbo Controlli range of tool presetting machines and equipment.

Nikken are also solely responsible for all UK sales, support and servicing of this high quality equipment from Italy.

The range has sold very successfully during 2003 and 2004 sees the introduction of a new model - set to turn the industry upside-down.

The E450 'Twinvision' breaks new ground in features and technology for real entry level money.

Start with the market leading capacity of 400mm on diameter and 500mm on length - then add the 0.001 micron resolution from precision optical scales and you begin to get an idea of just what this new development has to offer.

Then there is the dual function camera system.

This is achieved by adding two lighting arrays to the camera system instead of the normal single source of illumination.

Coupled with the Elbo Controlli standard of solid granite construction providing accuracy and repeatability unsurpassed by any other - the new machine in on the way to being as successful as its predecessors.

All Elbo Controlli tool presetting machines are now also supplied with free Toolive software.

This provides full tool control to consumers by, if required, linking the presetting to a DNC feed straight into the machine tool by providing built-in postprocessors for numerous CNC controllers.
