Keep an open mind on video-assisted metrology
You may believe that you have seen the ultimate in non-contact metrology, but until you experience the accuracy of Nikon's NEXIV VMR series Nikon suggests you keep a very open mind.
The user-friendly software not only stores all common operations in a centralised location, it also allows spreadsheet analysis to be linked to the image view and easy exportation of data to HTML, text and Excel file formats.
Featuring enhanced acquisition controls, the user is able to scroll through and observe previously captured data without having to pause or stop an experiment.
Furthermore, the new camera triggered device control option supports image acquisition at the fastest rate possible.
With powerful visualisation tools, the speed of processing is greatly improved, and this allows for fluid rotation and movement of the dataset in the volume view.
The system also features an enhanced navigation window for zooming in on larger images.
Demonstrating outstanding imaging analysis capabilities, the NIS - Elements V2.3 features new region of interest (ROI) tools which can be drawn and specified directly onto the image.
The user is able to toggle the ROI function on and off, and when on, ROIs can be moved in unison.
With new support for AVI native file format, AVI files can be opened, saved and compressed directly.
"The NIS - Elements V2.3 will help to position Nikon software as the world's leading platform for sophisticated image capture, instrument control, data management and analysis" comments Robert Forster, General Manager, Nikon Instruments UK. Request a free brochure from Nikon UK ...
