Designed specifically for 3D work pieces, a simple-to-use, bench-top video measuring system makes rapid checks on mechanical, stamped metal and plastics moulded parts.

Introduced at a Medical Innovation Forum was a simple-to-use, bench-top video measuring system, designed specifically for quality control checking of 3D work pieces.

Priced to create a new 'entry point' into video measurement, the iNEXIV VMA-2520 requires minimal bench space, yet combines a 250 x 200mm stage with a 200mm Z-axis stroke.

Together with a working distance of 73.5mm, these dimensions make it ideal for rapid QC checks and demanding R and D work on mechanical, stamped metal, plastics moulded parts used in, for example, medical devices.

Nikon also be displayed a concept in microscopy, which combines the versatility of a stereo with the resolution of a compound microscope.

The AZ100 Multizoom offers the wide field of view and long working distance usually associated with macro imaging with the high degree of resolution that characterises advanced research microscopes.

Furthermore, moving from macro to micro can be achieved via continuous switching of the magnifications without the user having to glance away from the eyepieces.

In effect, observers can move from scanning a whole sample to zooming in on an area of interest without ever having to look away.
