Nirvana Technologies has released Plus-Replicam - a digitising software that helps users generate accurate drawings of complicated shapes quickly from digital images.
Users start with a photograph of a template, calibrate the image in Plus-Replicam, and trace the outline of the shape automatically or manually and save it as a DXF file.
This file can be integrated into a workflow for downstream activities such as order entry, production planning, optimization and so on.
