New Vista's Thread Verification Module checks thread size, depth and quality by powering a gage probe into and back out of a thread.

New Vista Corporation has developed a Thread Verification Module for inspecting internal or external threads in production parts.

New Vista said that its TVM-SC is a cost efficient way to meet high and low volume demand, at high production speeds.

The unit checks thread size, depth and quality by powering a gauge probe into and back out of a thread.

'GO' gauging, 'NO GO' gauging, and combination gauging can be carried out.

Models are available with torque from 10in.oz up to 250in.oz, for inspecting threads from M3 to M50 (4 through to 2in).

These Thread Verification Modules are designed for checking a variety of thread types and sizes.

Threads are checked successively; each thread inspection takes about 2s.

The TVM-SC uses New Vista's patented Thread Verification system, which ensures the gauge will never become jammed in a hole, or attempt to cut secondary threads.

Gauge probe changes are accomplished by using a quick-change chuck.
