The DataCELL Field rugged cable product line has been extended to include a CC-Link, high-flex-life mid ODVA DeviceNet.

Northwire has expanded its DataCELL Field rugged cable product line to include a CC-Link, high-flex-life mid ODVA DeviceNet as well as new nominal 100 and 80 Foundation Fieldbus cables The DataCELL Field CC-Link cables are available as standard network cable and network cable with a power pair

The CC-Link cables are constructed to comply with CC-Link-dedicated cable specifications (Ver.

1.10).

They are conformance tested and passed by CLPA (CC-Link Partner Association), UL-listed PLTC, CSA-approved CMX-Outdoor-CMG.

Available with the industry standard red outer jacket or in other colors, the cable is fully shielded with a 65 percent tinned copper braid and inner 100 percent foil shield with drain.

The high-flex-life DataCELL Field mid ODVA DeviceNet cables are for discrete factory automation and control.

They have been tested to survive more than 10 million cycles on Northwire's flex testing equipment.

Other ODVA DeviceNet cables from Northwire include ODVA-compliant thick (600V-rated); thin (300V-rated); and special PLTC (Power Limited Tray Cable) thin, designed with 22 AWG data pair and PLTC-rated.

High-flex-life DataCELL Field mid ODVA DeviceNet cables are available in standard and custom colors, and feature a TPE jacket that is resistant to abrasion, oil, light and water.

This cable is an excellent choice for installation in cable tracks.

The expanded DataCELL Foundation Fieldbus cable line includes new versions with controlled electrical characteristics--now a choice of nominal 100 or 80 new 16 AWG versions; and multipair versions including 1, 2, 4, 8, 10 and 12-pair cables in 18 and 16 AWG.

It is the only Foundation Fieldbus cable that is UL-listed ITC/PLTC-ER (instrument tray cable/power-limited tray cable exposed-run listed).

DataCELL Foundation Fieldbus cable complies with Foundation Fieldbus H1 specification for type A and is approved for use in Classes 1 and 2, Div.
