Seven Axis CNC universal thread grinding machine combines superior accuracy and surface finish with versatility and rapid setup.
Normac recently completed development of the new model MX17 Seven Axis CNC Universal Thread Grinding machine The MX17 is a completely new machine that combines superior accuracy and surface finish with versatility and rapid setup
The MX17 features the latest mechanical and electronic technology including hydrostatic slide ways, lead screws and spindle support bearings, a cast polymenr base, 10kW direct drive loquid cooled spindle with built in balancing unit, two axis CNC grinding wheel dressing, and a PC based nemerical control system with application software that is easy to use and understand.
The MX17 can grind external threads on parts from 3mm to 150mm diameter, up to 380mm long, with up to 250mm thread length.
Threads can be ground with right hand or left hand leads up to 25 degrees.
