Both have excellent machining characteristics and are light weight.
Inserts such as threads and bearing surfaces can be placed in either material without difficulty but the absence of high temperatures during the polyurethane process means more delicate items can be encapsulated without risk of damage.
The variety of finishes available preserve the choice.
