Monitoring system expanded further
NetTest has announced that Vodafone Ireland has ordered a significant expansion of its GPRS monitoring system, MasterQuest only nine months after Vodafone's initial order for the system.

NetTest also announced that Vodafone has agreed to support the development of a GPRS Key Performance Indicator (KPI) application by allowing their network to be used as the Beta test site.
Michael Rasmussen, vice president, general manager, network management systems, NetTest, says: "Vodafone's agreement to support our development of a GPRS KPI application will allow us to accelerate development and ensure Vodafone's requirements are built into the product from day one." Vodafone, Ireland's leading mobile phone operator with a customer base of over 1.7 million people, selected MasterQuest in 2001 to monitor its core network for voice and text services.
It is now expanding the coverage to include mobile data services and the interface to the Radio Network to achieve full coverage of A-Interface and the following GPRS interfaces: Gb, Gi and Gn.
