Latest acquisition in an on-going investment in CNC machine tools at a plastics machining comoany is a Cincinnati FTV 840 machining centre for undertaking the most complex work.

This year alone Nylacast have had to more than double their manufacturing capacity, to enable them cope with the ever increasing demands of existing and new customers.
The most recent acquisition is a Cincinnati FTV 840 machining centre with a Heidenhain 530 control, offering 3.7 metres on the X-axis and geared up to undertake the most complex work.
Other recent investments include CNC lathes with "live" tooling, allowing for the improved efficiencies of multi operations on a single machine.

As well as increasing its UK market share, export markets for the Nylacast group have been buoyant.
There are manufacturing facilities currently sited in North America, South Africa, Central Europe and the Far East, all exhibiting good growth.
Nylacast have further plans to develop manufacturing facilities in South America, the Indian Sub Continent, Australasia and the Middle East, and will continue to increase its presence throughout Europe.
Nylacast sits as the parent company whose role is to spearhead and consolidate the various divisions within it.
The four main divisions are: Nylacast Technology design and install turn key manufacturing plants for the production of engineering plastic materials, several grades of which are world leaders.
Nylacast own the patents to these grades including Nylacast Oilon, Nylacast Nylube, Nylacast Aquanyl, and Nylacast Moly.
Nylacast Materials produces high volume high quality cast nylon in some fifteen grades and a multitude of sizes and thickness'.
The materials are then transferred to the component machine shops.
Nylacast Components manufacture components from Nylacast materials and a range of other engineering plastics, utilising its comprehensive array of machine tools to produce both simple and, more often, complex components, in large or small volumes to suit customer requirements.
Nylacast R and D is the jewel in the Nylacast crown.
A new facility has recently been completed and now houses the latest array of equipment for the complete analasys of any grade of plastic on the market today.
A team of Engineers and Chemists situated in this division are of the highest calibre and are available to give advice or recommendation about any materials that the customer is using or proposing to use.
Regular workshops are conducted on a broad spectrum of topics within the polymer industry, which our customers are always welcomed to attend.
