The engineers have succeeded in integrating the rigorous criteria of OEMB with the design guidelines aimed at emphasizing the product's distinctive features and a new, highly distinguishable image.
In accordance with the designers' guidelines to emphasize the characteristics of the product and to build a new image - the technicians of OEMB have developed a new base structure and implemented specific panelling carters in order to obtain an undoubtedly vanguard machine.
Every detail has been redesigned and a new, orange-blue colour combination has been realized so as to personalize this new product line.
The new, fluid lines emphasize the technical aspects and join the extraordinary care put into the definition of all the particulars and accessories of the machine: every detail has been re-evaluated and specifically designed.
The functional aspects have benefited from much attention and new, ergonomically correct and highly legible control panels have been developed.
'Origami' has been on the market already since 2004 and has had enormous success with its clients: It has become a reference point in a market where new offerings are often synonym for repetition or consolidation of already existing products.
'Origami' is available in different versions: from 4 to 12m of length, with a bending capacity of steel-foil from 1.25 to 4mm, and with an introduction-depth of 1100, 1250 and 1500mm.
The 'Origami' bending machines are realized with highly advanced technologies and fully respect the CE-norms.
They are easy to install, incomparably flexible and with low maintenance costs.
* Design - for OEMB the design represents a fundamental stage in the industrial process, in which company know-how is combined with constant and strict control of the various steps necessary in maintaining the high quality standards that characterise the company: a well-planned design guarantees solidity, efficiency and respect for customer requirements.
The technical division boasts a group of specialist industrial machinery design engineers who, through the use of modern CAD/CAM/CAE systems, are able to fulfil even the most modern needs.
IT support systems are naturally state-of-the-art and the design process involves the processing of three-dimensional elements, structural analysis of finite elements and simulations to maintain a constant design quality.
* Bending machines - OEMB benders are constructed using advanced technology in accordance with European standards and are characterised by their easy installation, incomparable flexibility and reduced maintenance costs.
From the compact 'Modula', designed for greater flexibility and economy of use, to the Tensol range, including 'Origami', industrial machines with a strong performance and appearance impact, and the 'Extra' programme in which customisation can satisfy every specific requirement, OEMB SA offers a vast range of solutions of pure quality.
Robust, reliable, inimitable, OEMB benders today represent a key indicator of quality, design and performance.
* The 'Extra' programme - the ability to customise OEMB/Tensol products allows the construction of individual benders, destined for specific or particular production.
With a strong will to succeed, the OEMB team accepts every challenge presented and develops the best possible solution to effectively meet customer needs.
* About OEMB - OEMB was founded in 1967 and at first its business was centred on systems maintenance of the Monteforno steelworks in Bodio.
In 1970 the licensed construction of MEP stirrup benders, construction which would later become independent also via the deposit in 1982 of special 'centre cutting' patent.
In 1987 the new 3000m2 plant built in Giornico offered the company its first expansion opportunity.
In 1995, the current CEO, Diego Corbella, through the Tensol (registered trademark since 1998) bender programme launched a diversified production and enhancement of services offered, yet continuing and reinforcing the precision mechanics sector for contract work obtained for the construction of special industrial elements, all in accordance with the strict requirements of customers who have always relied on OEMB professionalism.
OEMB today, characterised by ISO 9001-Vision 2000 certification, by a wide and diversified range of benders, expertise in the industrial maintenance sectors, particularly in relation to hydroelectric stations and industrial production, looks to the future with the certainty of a market offer of high profile products, services and business.
* Production - under contract, OEMB processes and constructs specific items, guaranteeing 'just in time' production and thus avoiding high storage costs for the customer.
The OEMB production unit is characterised by strong flexibility, able to support extraordinary workloads yet always guaranteeing absolute respect for delivery times.
The production processes can handle even the most demanding customer requirements, and its specialist personnel and high-level quality control procedures guarantee an end result in line with standard OEMB production.
An essential characteristic of OEMB is its capacity to produce not only small and medium sized elements, but also large size formats, prototypes and mass production levels.
* Maintenance - OEMB has a strong specialist maintenance team for industrial machines (overhead cranes, paper mills, etc), handling both ordinary and extraordinary maintenance tasks.
Timely and professional intervention in emergencies or preventive maintenance on production systems guarantees greater safety, efficiency and productivity of the equipment.
OEMB is also the Marti-Dytan representative for Italian-speaking Swiss cantons, guaranteeing specific support services for the entire product range.
Throughout its history, and due to its strategic geographic location, OEMB has developed important skills in the maintenance of hydroelectric station components.
These tasks require a high level of specialisation and OEMB, once again, is able to provide a competent and serious response, providing full overhaul services for turbines, injectors and valves.
* Training - staff training, along with the production organisation, represents an element that renders any company excellent in its own line of business.
In response to a continued increase in the request for specialisation, since 1994 OEMB has its own training centre which, on a four year basis, offers full training to sixteen apprentices.
After their initial selection, the apprentices have the opportunity to complete polymechanics training recognised at federal level, and at the same time apply their training within the company.
The OEMB training centre is the only one of its kind, perfectly equipped with latest generation machinery, its own IT systems and direct links to production plants for 'real time' learning feedback.
Students are guided and trained by keen and knowledgeable technicians, able to provide all the elements necessary for an effective, long-lasting training.
* Quality control - state-of-the-art equipment and constant updating allow OEMB to provide excellent quality control and certification.
The existence of a specific structure dedicated to this task, able to perform measurements with precision micrometry in controlled environmental conditions, represents a key element in the OEMB philosophy, i.e constant research, also through technological innovation and the strict quality of its products and services.
